Blade Pro Jewel Decoration

1. Download and open the above graphic "jewel2_mask.gif" (or use the Fleuron Font "P" size 150).
2. Increase colors to 16 million.
3. Choose Masks|New|From Image.
4. Choose Masks|Save to Alpha Channel.
5. Choose Masks|Delete and don't choose to merge with layer.
6. Select the white inner portions of the graphic (where the blue jewel effect shows). Add to your selection by holding down the "shift" key while using the magic wand to select the white area.
7. When you have all the inner white selected, expand your selection by one and save to an Alpha Channel.
8. Flood fill the graphic with white.
9. Add a new layer.
10. Load your main selection from the Alpha Channel (Selections|Load from Alpha Channel).
11. Flood fill selection with white.
12. Apply a Blade Pro Preset (I used my gold setting).
13. Add a new layer.
14. Load the inner selection and flood fill with white.
15. Apply a Blade Pro setting (I used the Blade Pro preset Aquafrost and played with it until I got an effect I liked).
